How to fill in a spray record for amenity work (worked example)

Here is a complete spray record for a typical amenity job, laid out the way the new rules expect. The business and product are made up for the example.

Common mistakes

  • Writing the product name without its authorisation number
  • Recording the total product used but not the dose
  • Leaving out where the treatment took place on a multi-area site
  • Waiting until the end of the week to write records up
  • Keeping the only copy in the van, with nothing for the client
